Pinpoint Indexing is a professional indexing service for publishers, editors, authors and others.

Book indexing

We can prepare back-of-the-book indexes in most subjects aimed at a general readership. In addition, we can index books at a more advanced level in  specialist areas including:

chemistry, theology, science and religion, cookery, music

Indexes can be prepared from final proofs, or as embedded indexes in Microsoft Word documents.

A professionally-written book index helps your readers find what they're looking for and makes your book more useful. With a good index, your book becomes a source of reference, not just a one-off read.

At Pinpoint Indexing we like to work to a high standard, so you can be confident we will take at least as much care over the index as you would yourself. And while we are indexing your book, you can be getting on with other things.

You can have your index delivered in the style, format and layout you require. If you are unsure what to ask for, we can explain the various options to help you decide, or make all the decisions for you.

Book publishing is a team effort. With Pinpoint Indexing you're not just getting an index for your book, but linking up with a friendly, helpful colleague. Our aim is to help make your book as good as possible, by creating a book index which will enhance its value and usefulness.

If you think we may be able to help you, please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.
