Wendy Baskett, MA, BD, MSocInd(Adv)

Wendy is a qualified professional indexer with a wide range of knowledge and interests spanning science, humanities and the arts. Her particular areas of expertise are chemistry, theology (including knowledge of biblical Hebrew and Greek) and all aspects of Church life and Christian ministry.

Other subject interests include general science, mathematics, education, psychology, spirituality, science and religion, personal development, self-help, crafts, music, cookery, food and drink, family history and local history.

As well as book indexing, Wendy is happy to consider periodicals and journal indexing, archives (including company papers and minutes of meetings) and personal papers.
Wendy read chemistry at Wadham College, Oxford and theology at the University of Manchester. She is an ordained minister of the United Reformed Church, in which she served for twenty years, with a particular emphasis on education and training and also ecumenism.
Wendy trained as an indexer with the Society of Indexers (SI). She gained her Accredited Indexer qualification in 2009 and achieved her Advanced Professional membership grade in 2011. Wendy now works as a professional indexer and tutor for the SI's training course, and is based in Bristol.
